Another Fabulous Show!! (AFS).
Our guests were from the Vortex and they were talking about their production of Sleeping Beauty which opens this Friday and plays through May 2, 2010. Oh my God! It sounds like a show that simply shouldn't be missed -- AND BRING THE FAMILY.
On the show were the actors who play the Prince and Princess, Jonathan Itchon and
Julia Lorenz as well as Content Love Knowles who wrote the music and Bonnie Cullum, The Vortex's Artistic Director and collaborator and Director of Sleeping Beauty.
I hope you enjoy the show as much as I did.

Show #46 -- Insomnia
I know I say it a lot.. but THIS TIME I MEAN IT -- I had a great time on the show today. We had our good friends from the Crank Collective here talking about their latest show playing in Austin (after a successful run in Bucharest, Romania), Insomnia. Our guests were the director, John Cecil as well as Josh Meindertsma, Gail Hebert, Tracey Medberry and Kate Caldwell. They performed two of their numbers and i must say...I LOVED 'EM!! Make sure you go see this 'light musical on a perverse theme.'

Show #45 -- The Family
What a wonderful wonderful show we had on Monday. It was our semi annual membership drive and the excitement around the studio was palitable!
On the show, not only, did we have the Actors and director from 'The Family' playing now through March 13th at the Salvage Vanguard, but we had the CHARACTERS on mic as well. That's right we had fun interviewing the actors in character for this show
The Family is produced by Gnap! Theater Project (prounounced 'guh-nap') and we just had a great time
